Water Safety Instructor
This course is for individuals who have an interest in becoming a Water Safety Instructor. In order to become a Water Safety Instructor you must complete the pre-course skills, attend all the classes, participate, and score at least an 80% on the final exam.
Pre-requisites: Participants must be at least 16 years old, complete the Fundamentals of Instructor Training and be able to swim the following strokes: front crawl 25 yards, back crawl 25 yards, breaststroke 25 yards, elementary backstroke 25 yards, sidestroke 25 yards, butterfly 15 yards, float on back for 1 minute and tread water for 1 minute.
