Paddle With A Purpose Waterway and Shoreline Cleanup

Paddle With A Purpose Waterway and Shoreline Cleanup

 RSVP - Required

Every Third Saturday (except in April and October, when it is part of our major service days on the LAST Saturday)

 9:00 am – 11:00 am

In just twelve months volunteers removed over 13,500 lbs. for trash from the North Fork of the New River.  They collected anything from tires, to fire extinguishers to the kitchen sink.  Help us to remove trash and make new friends.  The team meets in Delevoe Park, 2520 NW 6 St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311.  There is plenty of free parking in the park.

Important Volunteer Information:

•         The event is open to caring neighbors, but minors must be at least 15 years of age!

•         Proper attire is a t-shirt and pants - things you do not mind getting dirty!

•         Due to the outdoor activity, it is recommended all volunteers wear a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent, plus bring their own water and snacks.

•         All tools will be provided.  However, for your personal comfort we request that you bring your own pair of garden gloves!
