Public Hearing for Wave Modern Streetcar

Wave Streetcar RenderingThe South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) will conduct a Public Hearingpdf to discuss updates to the Supplemental Environmental Assessmentpdf for the Wave Streetcar project. Topics for discussion include the Wave Streetcar route, stations, and the proposed Vehicle Maintenance and Storage Facility location.

Public Comment, Written Statements, and Exhibits

The public is welcome to attend the hearing to express views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Written statements or other exhibits may also be submitted at the hearing, by mail, or by email either in place of or in additional to oral statements.  To submit statements or exhibits in writing, please forward them to:

All exhibits or statements postmarked on or before Monday, May 11, 2015 will become a part of the Public Hearing record.

Wave Draft Project Documents

The Wave draft project documents and other information is available for public review through Monday, May 11, 2015 at the following two locations:

Broward County Main Library
100 S. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 8 p.m.

City of Fort Lauderdale Transportation and Mobility Department
290 N.E. 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
