We're Breaking Ground on Dixie Highway!

You're invited to celebrate the kickoff of the Old Dixie Highway Complete Streets Project with the City of Fort Lauderdale, the Middle River Terrace Neighborhood Association, and our neighbors. 

Ride your bike to the event and get a free safety inspection from Performance Bicycle! ($45 value) and
register it with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

Event highlights include:

• Remarks by elected officials and project partners
• Free raffle prizes, including a new-to-you bicycle and a new helmet courtesy of Recyclable Bicycle Exchange and gift certificates from Buck & Beard, Christmas Palace, Pride Factory, and Warsaw Coffee Company
• Exhibits, including Dixie Highway historical display by the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society
• Kids activities including life-size games, book giveaway
• Performances by the Tropical Wave Ensemble of the Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida and the Fort Lauderdale High School Band and Step Team
• Weenie Wagon Food Truck and light refreshments
