Overview
As we reopen Fort Lauderdale and to support the recovery of our local businesses, the City of Fort Lauderdale is temporarily expanding access to outdoor spaces, such as streets and sidewalks, in an effort to facilitate social distancing for pedestrians and business patrons in key areas of the City. The City is modifying existing regulations to help businesses serve their customers while adhering to CDC guidelines by allowing them to temporarily establish operations in public right-of-way, including on-street City parking spaces and travel lanes, in defined areas as approved by the City Commission.
