The Airport is one of approximately 100 General Aviation airports in the country authorized by the Department of Homeland Security as a point of entry and departure to and from Cuba, which is a historic moment in FXE and aviation history.

Global Entry kiosk now available
Executive Airport is the first General Aviation airport in the country selected by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) to receive a Global Entry kiosk, which is a CBP program that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to expedite entrance into the United States upon arrival.

Traffic Advisory: A Portion of S. Andrews Avenue between Broward Boulevard and E. Las Olas Boulevard
Miller Pipeline, a contractor hired by the City of Fort Lauderdale to perform sanitary sewer work, will temporarily close a portion of S. Andrews Avenue from Broward Boulevard to E. Las Olas Boulevard from 7:30 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, June 27th, Tuesday, June 28th, and Tuesday, July 5th.

East Loop Road to Improve Safety
Operators in the movement area may have noticed a new road near the Approach End of Runway 27. This new road has been built to reduce vehicle crossings of Runway 9-27, and ultimately increase safety by reducing the possibility of Runway Incursions.
