This meeting is a follow up presentation to September 26, 2018 CCRAB evening meeting. The purpose was to present the results of the lot-fit-analysis as requested by the board members.

The purpose of this meeting was to present the proposed mixed-use zoning of the area. The presentation covered overall project overview, a summary of community feedback and the proposed changes to the zoning map. No decision was made at this meeting, the advisory board requested additional revisions be made to the proposal and a second presentation to be made at a regular scheduled board meeting on November 7, 2018.
Utilizing information obtained from the public input sessions, the online surveys, and Community Workshop #1, the Project Team prepared two regulating plan scenarios for attendees to review and vote on. The following links provide results of the exercises provided at the July 11th Community Workshop #2.
This meeting was attended by 22 members of the developer, finance and real estate industries. Attendees were briefed on the rezoning project and asked to provided feedback on the following:
1) Their perspectives on the local economy and how to enhance local development potential in the area.
2) Ways to encourage greater investment in the area.
3) Ways to move the area towards a more proactive approach to community development.
This workshop provided attendees with the opportunity to participate in visual preference surveys to develop a framework for organizing potential development and design regulations for the study area. Participants prioritized goals and livability principles by order of importance, identified strengths and weaknesses, and identified focus area to transform the study area.
