The City of Fort Lauderdale is powering up its commitment to sustainable transportation with the launch of its new electric vehicle (EV) charging program! With a network of charging stations located throughout the city, residents and visitors can now charge their EVs wherever it's convenient.

The program offers three flexible payment options to suit individual preferences. A four-hour charging limit applies to all options.

  • Users can pay hourly using the ParkMobile app, making it easy to manage charging sessions on the fly.
  • Drivers can opt for a monthly EV permit, providing access to all city-owned or operated charging stations.
  • At certain parking garages, those who have already purchased a regular parking permit have full access to the EV charging stations within that garage.
$5 per hour through the ParkMobile app. There is a four-hour charging limit per parking session.
