Do you spend the summer at the beach? As a resident of Fort Lauderdale, you’re eligible for discounted parking and easy access to the beach with our Residential Beach Parking Permit.

This permit allows you to park at:

  • Fort Lauderdale Beach Park
  • On-street parking meters on North Beach
  • Las Olas Garage

The Residential Beach Parking Permit is not valid during special events. Residents must buy a new permit once a year.

Residential Beach Parking Permit Details

  • The Permit is $75 plus tax.
  • Residents may buy the permit online using a credit or debit card (MasterCard or Visa only).
  • Proof of Fort Lauderdale residency is required.

Permit applications require all of the following documents with the same name and address:

  • A current vehicle registration
  • A current Florida driver's license
  • Proof of Residency (Proof of home ownership per BCPA or valid lease agreement)

Alternatives to Beach Parking

If you don’t have a car or prefer not to drive, Broward County Transit (BCT) is the number one public transportation option for service to and from Fort Lauderdale Beach. BCT rates and schedules are available at www.broward.org/bct or by phone at 954-357-8400.

Fort Lauderdale Community Shuttle
