A Residential Parking Permit (RPP) is a permit issued by the City of Fort Lauderdale that allows residents to park on a street within a “residential parking permit district.” This means only residents may park on the street based on the times and days determined by the neighborhood. Residents must have a permit from the City of Fort Lauderdale to park in on-street parking areas.
Residential property owners in the neighborhood determine the parking restrictions, including the days of the week and hours of the day when a permit must be displayed to park on the street. It is important to note that having a residential parking permit does not guarantee available parking in the neighborhood.
Below is a list of neighborhoods and areas with established RPPs. Please visit their pages to learn more about the details for the RPP established for each area.
