Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy
The Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy is a partnership between National League of Cities and the U.S. Department of Labor. The Academy is designed to spur innovative and scalable city-supported solutions that upskill and reskill workers into quality, high-demand jobs in infrastructure through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
City participation will culminate in the launch of new or expanded training programs that place workers in high demand jobs in water & wastewater treatment, stormwater management and other critical Public Works jobs. Good Jobs, Great Cities - National League of Cities (nlc.org)
